SBA Designations & Certifications
Federal contracting officers may award sole-source contracts, up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services and $6.5 million for manufacturing. Next Phase is in Phase 1 of the SBA 8(a) Business Development Program.
Federal Contracting Officers may award Economically Disadvantaged WOSBs (EDWOSBs) federal contracts, up to $4 million, that are set-aside for EDWOSBs in industries where women-owned small businesses are underrepresented. It also allows set-asides for WOSBs in industries where women-owned small businesses are substantially underrepresented.
