Dr. Warren Miller Joins Next Phase as Corporate Chief Architect
Next Phase Solutions and Services (Next Phase) is pleased to announce that Dr. Warren Miller joined the executive team in the role of Corporate Chief Architect. Dr. Miller has over 30 years of experience architecting, implementing, and leading scientific, engineering and information technology efforts in support of meeting business and mission objectives. He has expertise working across a broad range of system architectures, development methodologies and leading small and large teams. His most recent professional contributions have transformed critical Federal public-facing services by expanding the use of common platforms, services, and tools that are incorporated into a robust framework of digital services that enhance the citizen’s experience.
As the corporation’s Chief Architect, Warren will support the corporation’s goal to deliver creative digital services to our federal customers. Warren will lend his expertise to our product development, business development and program delivery teams – all of which are engaged in engineering and IT efforts aimed at helping the government deliver better services to the American people.
Most recently, Warren served as a Managing Director for Deloitte Consulting in their Government & Public Services practice. While at Deloitte, Warren was an Executive Sponsor for the Agile Center of Excellence in Deloitte’s Federal Practice, Lead Engagement Partner for Deloitte’s IRS Agile BPA contract and was the Studio Lead for the effort to develop Deloitte’s wildly successful Digital Studios which enabled direct customer engagement in HCD efforts in VA, TX, and CA. Warren also served as Vice President of Technology at Agilex (now part of Accenture Federal Services) in Chantilly, VA, Chief Technology Officer at Software Consortium based in Columbia, MD, and Chief Engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, MD. During his tenure in these capacities, Warren advised such clients as the IRS, NASA, Amtrak, USPS, Census Bureau, and the National Credit Union Administration, and delivered architectures and systems to non-profit, commercial, and state clients. A little known secret about Warren, is he is an accomplished scientist that supported the Hubble Space Telescope program for many years!
Warren holds a PhD and MS in Astronomy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a BS in Physics and BA in Astronomy from the University of Texas at Austin and attended post graduate studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Dr. Miller maintains credentials as a Federal Enterprise Architect (FEAC), Program Management Professional (PMP), ICAgile Certified Professional, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and TOGAF 9.
