(CSS), Inc., a leader in health and safety services, are pleased to announce our collaboration in the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Mentor-Protégé Program.

This strategic partnership is designed to strengthen Next Phase’s capabilities and competitiveness in the federal marketplace while expanding CSS’s reach and impact across federal agencies. The SBA Mentor-Protégé Program pairs small and disadvantaged businesses with experienced companies to provide business development support, enhance technical expertise, and create new opportunities for growth in the federal technology and services marketplace.

Next Phase Joins IMSG in Winning ProTech 2.0 Weather IDIQ to Support the National Weather Service

Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. (Next Phase) is proud to announce its role as a subcontractor to I.M. Systems Group, Inc. (IMSG) on the ProTech 2.0 Weather Domain Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract awarded on August 29, 2025. This five-year contract will support the National Weather Service’s (NWS) mission to provide weather, water, and climate data, forecasts, and warnings for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the national economy.

Advancing a Weather-Ready Nation

Under the ProTech 2.0 Weather Domain, IMSG and Next Phase will assist NWS in evolving and modernizing its services to meet the nation’s growing need for timely, accurate, and actionable intelligence. With societal, technological, and economic challenges becoming increasingly complex, NWS is embracing agility, flexibility, and innovation to advance its vision of a weather-ready nation.

Key objectives of the ProTech 2.0 Weather Domain include:
  • Modernizing meteorological and communications systems to better support evolving weather forecasting needs
  • Providing impact-based decision support services (IDSS) that help core partners and stakeholders understand and act on critical weather information
  • Leveraging cutting-edge science and technology to deliver forecasts and warnings that protect lives, property, and the national economy

Next Phase Wins All Categories of the State of Arizona’s Contract to Advance Data Management, Analytics, and AI

(Next Phase) is pleased to announce our selection as a contract awardee by the State of Arizona across all four service categories for data and data management initiatives. This award empowers Next Phase to provide critical expertise to state agencies, universities, commissions, boards, and cooperative buyers in support of Arizona’s mission to modernize data, streamline processes and increase efficiency through modern digital services.

Driving State-wide Data Innovation

Under this multi-award contract, Next Phase will support the Arizona Chief Data Officer with a wide range of data-driven initiatives to help Arizona modernize its systems and achieve measurable impact across state government and entities that receive funding from the State of Arizona.

2025 is off to a great start! Next Phase to support the Health and Human Services in fighting healthcare fraud.

Beating out 3 bidders, Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. (Next Phase) is pleased to announce the contract award for the Master Data Management (MDM) system at the Health and Human Services. Under this contract, Next Phase provides accurate data to be used in fighting fraud, waste and abuse in HHS programs. This award marks the beginning of our seventh year of service to HHS for this program and offers new opportunities to further innovate and modernize data products used to fight fraud in federal and state healthcare programs

Next Phase Appoints Health IT Innovation Officer

 

Next Phase Solutions and Services, Inc. (Next Phase), an SBA Certified 8(a), and Economically Disadvantaged, Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) focused on engineering, science and IT services, announces the appointment of Elizabeth Cruz McNamara to the role of Health IT Innovation Officer. Liz joins us from the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health, where she spearheaded transformative initiatives, most notably serving as Director of the Digital Transformation (DT) initiative since 2019. With a stellar track record at the FDA/CDRH, Liz held multiple high-impact roles, including Associate Deputy Chief Information Officer (ADCIO) and Acting Director of the Division of Technology and Data Services.With over 30 years of hands-on experience, Liz has been at the forefront of driving complex health IT solutions across both the public and private sectors. Before her impactful tenure at the FDA, she served in key leadership positions—Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, IT Program Manager at NIH’s Clinical Center for Patient Safety, and Principal Healthcare Consultant at CSC and Health IT Solutions, LLC.

Liz has achieved an impressive academic background with an M.S. in Healthcare Administration and a B.S. in Decision and Information Systems from the University of Maryland.
