Next Phase Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer Jason Heavener

Jason Heavener joins the Next Phase Solutions and Services (Next Phase) executive team as Chief Financial Officer responsible for the strategic and operational components of the accounting and finance organization. As key leader in charting a course into the future as the company builds and grows, Mr. Heavener will be directing the company’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance and investor relations.

Jason has established a reputation for building world-class teams and for aligning financial and business metrics to support business strategy and high-growth. As an accomplished financial leader within the technology and government contracting industry, Jason has worked with the Department of Defense, the Federal Transit Agency, and many state transportation departments. As our CFO, Jason is committed to maximizing long-term company value, ensuring a balanced portfolio of growth initiatives, and maintaining the high level of integrity and transparency for which Next Phase is known.

Throughout his 20+ year career in corporate strategy, accounting and finance, Jason has held roles as a financial auditor, Controller and Vice President, where he partnered across business groups, segments, and operations on strategic long-range planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as the analysis and strategy of product and services pricing.  Jason brings this team-oriented approach to Next Phase to ensure strategy, finances, and program management, including the company’s financial reporting and long-range business planning, are right on target.

Jason holds an MBA from DeSales University, a BS in Accounting from Lehigh University, and an AS Civil & Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania Institute of Technology. He maintains his license as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
